My favorite is their patty melt with french fries with ranch dressing to dip it. I always liked soda with it too. I also like their traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs with shredded cheese on top and slice avocado and country potatoes with English muffins and jelly and butter yummy in the tummy!!! Debbie is always nice to me and Gail is super cool
Absolutely divine food, atmosphere & waitstaff. Very friendly, attentive and they remember you. Love the photos around the restaurant. Been going here for years. I remember eating at tables under tents during the Covid Pandemic months. Fish fry was just as delicious as it is now. Just don't talk politics - no one needs to hear other customers talking about that stuff across the room.
So yummy! Affordable prices, good location, cute vibes!! The service was quick and good and overall I loved this place! The food was amazing, I will definitely be back. No frills, just good vibes and good food.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Great food and even greater service. Pancakes are perfect. Try the boysenberry syrup!! You will not be disappointed.(pour the syrup slow. It comes out fast) Pricing is pretty good compared to other diners I've been to. Been here a few times and it's our new weekly spot!
Gail is awesome. We have been coming to the pancake House restaurant for years. We give it five stars. Also, the waffles are delicious. The service is quick and the food is hot. This is one of the best places in El Cajon to eat your breakfast lunch or dinner.
